Job Title: Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications to lead the brand, marketing, and corporate communications function for a leading Nigerian conglomerate with diversified investments across multiple sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the Group's brand positioning, corporate reputation, stakeholder engagement, and integrated marketing strategy to support business growth and strengthen market presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement integrated marketing and corporate communications strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build, strengthen, and protect the Group's corporate brand and reputation.
- Lead brand management, media relations, public relations, digital marketing, advertising, and corporate communications initiatives.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive business growth and market penetration.
- Manage internal and external communications, including executive messaging and crisis communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media organizations, government agencies, partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across marketing and communication channels.




- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and communications team.
- Manage departmental budgets and ensure measurable returns on marketing investment.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
- A Master's Degree or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10–15 years' progressive experience in marketing, branding, and corporate communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience within a conglomerate or multi-business organization is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of brand management, strategic marketing, public relations, media engagement, digital marketing, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking and project management capabilities.
