Be a vital part of resident care at AgeCare Shawnee as a Health Care Aide. Work collaboratively with the care team to provide essential services to residents with compassion and dignity. In this temporary part-time role, you will support senior residents under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with daily activities, promoting their well-being, and ensuring their comfort. Your knowledge in patient care will help you deliver protected and thorough assistance throughout your shifts. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with bathing, showering, and personal hygiene
- Help with resident transfers using appropriate equipment
- Support residents during meal times and nourishment
- Provide routine treatments and care as directed
- Accompany residents to social activities and appointments Requirements:
- One year experience preferred in continuing care
- Post-secondary education is an asset
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Completion of recognized PCA/HCA Certificate Course
