About the Role:

Key Responsibilities
Health Information Management Operations:
Oversee daily health information management activities, ensuring medical records are accurate, complete, and accessible to authorized healthcare professionals.
Team Leadership:
Provide guidance, coaching,
and support to health information specialists and administrative staff while promoting quality and accountability.
Compliance and Data Governance:
Ensure hospital records management practices follow privacy regulations, healthcare standards, and organizational policies.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve documentation workflows, reporting processes, and information management systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with physicians, nurses, IT teams, and hospital leadership to support effective use of healthcare data and reporting.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor information accuracy, conduct audits, and implement improvements to maintain high standards of health data management.
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
6 to 8 years of experience in Health Information Management, Medical Records, or Healthcare Administration, including at least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related healthcare field.
Professional Knowledge:
Strong understanding of medical records management, privacy legislation, healthcare documentation standards, and electronic health record systems.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to mentor teams, manage priorities, and collaborate with multiple healthcare departments.
Technical Skills:
Experience with electronic medical record systems, healthcare databases, reporting tools, and information governance practices.
Mindset:
You are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about improving healthcare operations through accurate and meaningful information management.
Pay: $97,300.00-$120,400.00 per year
