As a Hog Receiving Barn Worker,you will play an important role in supporting one of Canada’s leadingpork production operations. This hands‑on position involves receiving,unloading, and sorting hogs while helping ensure they are handled safelyand humanely when they arrive at our facility.

Salary & Benefits

Hog Receiving Barn Workers start at a wage of $20.75/hour, with wage growth potential up to $22.05/hour based on tenure.

This position also includes permanent full-time employment, fulltraining, and genuine opportunities for career progression within thecompany.

Our compensation package includes

Employment Requirements

This role is active, hands-on, and requires care, attention, and respect for animal welfare, food safety, and workplace safety.

To succeed as a Hog Receiving Barn Worker, applicants should have:

- Respect for animal welfare, food safety, and workplace safety
- Knowledge of animal behaviour, considered an asset
- 1 to 7 months of experience working with livestock




- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Ability to bend, lift, crawl, and perform repetitive manual tasks
- Comfort working in diverse environments, including varying temperatures, humidity, and odours
