Due to Ontario Long-Term Care regulations, candidates must have the following documents before starting shifts. Candidates who already have complete compliance documentation will be prioritized for upcoming shifts.
Required Compliance
- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - issued within the last 6 months
- 2-Step TB Test - issued within the last 6 months
- COVID-19 Vaccination Proof
- Influenza Vaccination Proof (current season)
- CPR and 1st Aid
- N95 Mask Fit Test
- WHMIS Certificate
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness (WHSA) Certificate
- Government-issued ID
- 3 Professional References
Successful applicants will be added to our Talent Pool. When opportunities arise for full-time, part-time, or casual shifts at our partner's long-term care homes in your area, we will contact qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and washrooms according to facility standards
- Follow infection prevention and control (IPAC) procedures
- Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines
- Ensure resident areas remain clean, safe, and comfortable
- Work collaboratively with nursing, dietary, and maintenance teams
- Maintain a respectful and professional setting for residents and staff
