I'm seeking a strategic and collaborative Senior Human Resources Business Partner to play a key role in supporting business leaders and driving people initiatives that enable organizational success. This position serves as a trusted advisor, partnering with leaders across multiple functions to develop talent strategies, strengthen leadership capabilities, and foster a high-performing, engaged workforce.
This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will work closely with leaders to navigate organizational change, build leadership capability, improve employee engagement, and implement practical HR solutions that align with business objectives. Success in this role requires sound judgment, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence decisions while building lasting relationships throughout the organization.
What You'll Do
Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner with business leaders to align human resources strategies with organizational goals, operational priorities, and workforce planning.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on leadership effectiveness, organizational design, employee engagement, and team performance.
- Provide guidance and support through organizational change, business transformation, and evolving workforce needs.
- Build strong partnerships across the organization to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and recommend proactive solutions.
Employee Relations & Leadership Support
- Lead complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management discussions.
- Provide balanced, business-focused guidance while ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance with employment legislation.
- Coach managers through sensitive employee situations and help strengthen leadership effectiveness.
- Foster a positive workplace culture built on trust, accountability, collaboration, and respect.
- Monitor workforce trends and recommend preventive actions that improve employee engagement and organizational health.
Talent Management & Organizational Development
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to define hiring needs and support effective recruitment strategies.
- Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
- Identify high-potential employees and support leadership development plans that strengthen organizational capability.
- Assist with organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives that support business growth.
Compensation & HR Programs
- Advise leaders on compensation practices, salary planning, market competitiveness, promotions, and recognition programs.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and best practices.
- Utilize workforce metrics and HR analytics to provide meaningful recommendations that support business decisions.
- Ensure HR initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities and deliver measurable business value.
HR Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Provide oversight and guidance for employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, leaves of absence, accommodations,
and employee documentation.
- Partner with Payroll, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and other HR Centers of Excellence to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Maintain the integrity of HR systems, employee records, and compliance-related documentation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence across HR practices.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Seven or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience supporting leaders as an HR Business Partner.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, organizational development, talent management, and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, build trusted relationships, and provide practical business solutions.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex situations with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Experience supporting organizational change, leadership development, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), including ADP or similar platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a quick-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for building strong teams, developing leaders, and continuously improving the employee experience.
