We’re partnering with a well-established electrical contractor in the western Greater Toronto Area to recruit an HR Generalist.

This is an excellent prospect for an HR professional with 3–5 years of progressive HR experience who enjoys working in a hands-on environment supporting skilled trades, project managers, and technical professionals.

Working alongside an experienced fractional HR Director, you’ll play a key role in delivering practical, people-focused HR support across a growing organization of approximately 120 employees. You’ll gain exposure to all facets of human resources while helping to strengthen HR practices as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

- Full-cycle recruitment for field, technical, and office positions
- Support employee relations and performance management initiatives
- Assist with the interpretation and administration of a union collective agreement
- Help implement HR programs, policies, and best practices
- Coordinate onboarding, training, and employee development activities
- Support HRIS administration,



maintain HR records, and ensure compliance with employment legislation

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

- 3–5 years of HR Generalist or Senior HR Coordinator experience
- Experience in construction, electrical contracting, industrial, manufacturing, or another skilled trades environment
- Exposure to unionized workplaces and collective agreements is considered an asset
- Strong recruitment and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and sound judgment
- A practical, approachable style and a willingness to roll up your sleeves

This position is based in Mississauga and is primarily in-office, with limited hybrid flexibility available each month.
