Management is one of Canada’s leading property management companies, managing thousands of residential rental properties across Ontario and beyond. We are looking for experienced, reliable HVAC Technicians to join our growing network of service professionals. This role involves travelling to residential properties to diagnose, maintain, repair, and install HVAC equipment within your verified qualifications and legal scope.

Technicians will work independently, manage appointments through a mobile work app, document their findings, and complete assigned work safely and professionally. The interview allows us to learn more about your HVAC experience, systems you can service independently, licences and certifications, diagnostic ability, tools, vehicle, availability, and comfort using a mobile work app before moving qualified candidates to the next stage of the hiring process.

What You’ll Do Diagnose HVAC problems before recommending repairs or equipment replacement

Complete HVAC maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, and installations within your approved scope

Service residential systems such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, water heaters, ductless units, thermostats, HRVs, ERVs, ductwork, and ventilation equipment

Inspect filters, airflow, thermostats, controls, electrical components, and system operation

Identify required parts and explain when additional or specialized work is needed

Test HVAC systems before leaving to confirm proper and safe operation

Record equipment model numbers,



serial numbers, findings, repairs, and completed work

Take clear photos of equipment, damaged components, installed parts, and completed work

Report unsafe equipment, unfinished work, licensing concerns, or issues outside your approved scope

Use a mobile work app to receive work orders, read instructions, navigate with GPS, upload photos, and update job statuses

Travel between appointments using your own vehicle Mandatory Requirements Minimum 3 years of paid professional HVAC field experience

Must be able to diagnose and complete assigned HVAC work independently without technical job-site supervision

Experience servicing, maintaining, repairing, or installing residential HVAC systems

Must have the appropriate active licences, certificates, tickets, or legal authority for the HVAC work being performed

Must have your own reliable vehicle to travel between appointments and carry tools, equipment, parts, and supplies

Must have your own HVAC tools and testing equipment appropriate for your approved scope of work

Must have your own suitable smartphone capable of using GPS, mobile work apps, taking clear photos, reading work orders, and submitting job updates

Robust diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving ability

Strong understanding of HVAC safety and the limits of your qualifications

Able to test completed work and report unresolved or additional problems

Basic English communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with GPS-confirmed appointments





Must arrive no later than 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time Licensing and Scope of Work Technicians will only be assigned work that matches their verified experience, licences, certificates, tickets, insurance, and approved legal scope. Depending on the work being assigned, verification may include gas certification, refrigeration or air-conditioning qualifications, refrigerant-handling certification, sheet-metal qualifications, or other applicable credentials. Gas, refrigerant, refrigeration, air-conditioning, sheet-metal, and household electrical work will not be assigned unless the required qualifications and legal authority have been reviewed and approved.

Technicians are expected to stop and report any work that is unsafe, regulated, or outside their approved scope.

Preferred Qualifications Active G1 or G2 gas certification

Valid 313A or 313D qualification

Current ODP refrigerant-handling certificate

Valid 308A or 308R sheet-metal qualification

Manufacturer or equipment-specific training

Experience across multiple residential HVAC systems

Experience completing both service calls and preventative maintenance
