Job Summary
Teach one-on-one or small group lessons for
- IB Biology HL
- AP Biology
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 and/or small-group tutoring in IB Biology HL and/or AP Biology
- Teach and reinforce key concepts across cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, physiology, and related topics
- Help students develop strong scientific reasoning, data analysis, experimental design, and application skills
- Prepare students for IB Biology assessments, Internal Assessment (IA), and IB exams, and/or AP Biology exams
- Identify students' strengths and areas for improvement and develop personalized learning plans
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with students and parents
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching IB/AP Biology
