Starting Rate of pay

$44.50/hour

( $1.00/hour deduction during probationary period – 900 hours worked)

Shift Premium

- $0.65/hour extra for night shift
- $0.50/hour extra for afternoon shift

Shifts Available and Hours

Rotating shifts (Days / Afternoons / Midnights) as per production schedule as follows:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Hours determined based on operational needs and seniority under the Collective Agreement

What you will be doing

- Troubleshoot and repair extrusion and industrial production equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs (PLC5 / ControlLogix) to troubleshoot, modify, and support programs
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring equipment issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with maintenance team members

Required Education/Experience





- Certified Industrial Electrician License (442A or 309A)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial automation or manufacturing environment
- Robust communication skills in English (spoken and written)

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (PLC5 / ControlLogix)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Experience with AC/DC motors, VFDs, and industrial troubleshooting
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and industrial maintenance processes
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable to lift a minimum weight of 50 lbs
