Become an Insolvency Counsellor with BDO Canada, providing essential support to debtors and creditors. Engage in BIA counseling, community outreach, and business development. This role with BDO Canada focuses on assisting clients through bankruptcies and proposals, offering insights on budgeting and credit rebuilding. As part of the Personal Debt Solutions team, you'll review documents for compliance and enhance community engagement through outreach activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist debtors and creditors both in person and virtually
- Deliver BIA counseling on budgeting and credit management
- Review files with clients ensuring compliance
- Conduct community outreach and develop recent business opportunities
- Present financial solutions to clients Requirements:
- Completed CAIRP Practical course in Insolvency Counseling
- Two years of experience in Insolvency or Credit Counseling
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel Leverage your expertise in financial counseling to support BDO Canada’s mission of putting people first.
