In this semester-long position, starting September 14, 2026, you will lead courses covering essential construction topics and evaluation methods.
You'll nurture student growth by adapting teaching strategies and ensuring adherence to SIIT's academic standards and policies.
Your role is crucial in promoting the mission and values of our institution. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach courses on construction theory and practical applications
- Prepare and distribute course materials and evaluations
- Track student progress and provide timely feedback
- Foster an inclusive and secure classroom atmosphere
- Suggest updates to course content and evaluation methods Requirements:
- Journeyperson certification in Carpentry is mandatory
- Proven experience in the construction field
- Awareness of adult learning theories is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and access to vehicle required
- First Aid and CPR certifications preferred Make a difference in the construction workforce by guiding students at SIIT.
