The Marine

Institute is developing an eligibility list for qualified instructors to deliver various marine courses. This role will involve instructing Fishing Masters IV and Bridgewatch courses, including Chartwork and Pilotage, alongside General Seamanship. Successful candidates should possess substantial maritime qualifications and a background in teaching. Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Fishing Masters IV and related courses
- Instruct Bridgewatch curriculum for Transport Canada
- Develop course materials and assessments
- Facilitate student learning through hands-on training
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students Requirements:
- Fishing Masters III Certificate of Competency
- Background in maritime studies or technology
- Proven communication and leadership skills
- Previous post-secondary teaching experience
