Team as the Interim Active Living Manager at Lakeshore Place Retirement Resort!

Location: Regency Retirement Resorts have 8 locations in the Okanagan, including Vernon, Penticton, West Kelowna, and Kelowna. This position is on site at Sandalwood.

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Active Living Manager will be involved in creating and overseeing diverse activities and social programs to enrich residents' lives while fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere.

Key responsibilities include developing engaging events, collaborating with community partners, and motivating resident participation. The position entails coordinating with other departments and community partners, managing budgets, and ensuring quality standards. Additional duties include producing communication materials, organizing transportation, hosting tours, and maintaining confidentiality and respect for residents' dignity.

The role also supports employee orientation, contributes to special events, and aligns with organizational policies and goals.

Education And Experience Two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in the hospitality industry and/or the area of seniors living Serving it Right Class 4 driver’s license is considered an asset but not required.
