We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, including industrial settings, and possess a robust understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints. This role requires a hands-on approach to installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in various environments.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete electrical installations and repairs.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including wiring, circuit installation, and system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other diagnostic tools.
- Perform low voltage installations as required for specific projects or renovations.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Familiarity with construction processes and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Previous maintenance person experience is a plus, showcasing versatility in repair and maintenance tasks.
