Your role involves assisting with specimen preparation and ensuring supplies are stocked. In this position, you will handle surgical pathology and cytology specimens, supporting Pathologists Assistants with tissue cassettes and ensuring accessioning and grossing areas are maintained. Additionally, you will perform vital tasks for technologists, such as loading slides onto automated platforms and managing reagents.

Solid interpersonal skills and independent prioritization in a busy lab setting are essential for success. Key Responsibilities:

- Organize surgical pathology and cytology specimens
- Prepare tissue cassettes for Pathologists Assistants




- Maintain cleanliness in accessioning and grossing areas
- Change reagents in tissue processors
- Sort and label pathology slides efficiently Requirements:
- Completion of a Laboratory Assistant/Technician Program
- Preferred OSMT or CSMLS certification
- At least 1 year of lab experience in Pathology
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
