The Toronto Office of McCarthy Tétrault LLP seeks a highly-motivated experienced lawyer to join our national Labour and Employment Group. The successful candidate will join a team which provides a full range of legal advice to clients who operate in a wide range of industries.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to practice law in Ontario and have the following credentials:

- 2 – 5 years of post-call labour and employment experience, particularly in litigation;
- Excellent academic and professional credentials;
- Robust analytical, communication and drafting skills; and
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service excellence.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a team providing service to unionized and non-unionized clients in all areas of labour and employment law (in both provincial and federal spheres), including human rights, privacy, employment litigation, labour arbitration, legislative compliance and related litigation, as well as organizational and transactional advice.

The successful candidate’s key focus will depend on level of experience, but will include advising clients on day to day employment, labour and human rights matters, representing clients in related litigation matters,



supporting senior practitioners, spearheading internal and client education (including seminars, workshops, blogging and legal writing), and other client service matters.
