Residential and Commercial Landscape contractor seeking a Lead Hand. In this position, you will be responsible for the successful completion of Commercial and Residential landscape projects.

The right candidate will be reliable, detail oriented, and hard working. Must be able to run a crew and complete landscaping projects from start to finish; follow and give directions; be efficient; and have excellent communication skills. These duties include, but are not limited to:

- Use construction and landscaping tools and equipment to complete daily tasks including survey equipment, skid steers, cut saws, packers, mini excavators, paving equipment.
- Assist and direct in the installation of softscape materials such as trees, shrubs, grasses and perennials.
- Assist and direct in the installation of hardscape materials such as paving stones for sidewalks and patios.
- Accurately read and interpret construction documents.




- Accurately track and report progress on a daily basis.

Requirements for this position are, but not limited to:

- Must possess a valid class 3 license with air brakes.
- Must have own transportation
- Must have CSA approved steel toe work boots
- Must be available Monday to Friday with some evening and weekend work
- Must have Skid Steer experience.
- Knowledge and experience in the field is a requirement. Some training will be provided.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- A solid work ethic and reliability.

Salary:

- Paid Bi-Weekly.
- Vacation paid on every cheque.
- Long weekends off with paid stats.
- Weekend and overtime work may be available.
- Hourly wage starting at $26/hour and up based on experience.

- Skid steer loader: 3 years (required)
