Landscape Maintenance Worker - Part Time & Full Time

Urban Landscapers Ltd. is hiring a part time and full time Landscape Maintenance Worker with a valid drivers license to join our team. We provide professional landscape maintenance services for residential and commercial properties in South Surrey and surrounding areas.
This is a landscape maintenance position only. Work includes lawn mowing, line trimming, hedge trimming, edging lawns and garden beds, and the use of backpack blowers. We do not perform large landscape construction projects, hardscaping, or heavy excavation work.
Employees start and end their day at our yard in South Surrey, where crews meet before heading to job sites.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and wants steady employment with a small, professional team.
Job Details
Pay: $18.25–$28 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Crews start and finish each day at our South Surrey yard
Reliable transportation to the yard is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging
- Operate lawn maintenance equipment such as commercial mowers, line trimmers, hedge trimmers, and backpack blowers
- Use hand tools for gardening and general landscape work
- Maintain clean and professional job sites
- Follow company safety procedures and safe equipment practices
- Conduct basic equipment checks and report maintenance issues
- Work efficiently as part of a small crew
- Maintain a professional attitude with coworkers and clients
Requirements
- Previous landscaping, gardening, or outdoor labour experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate lawn maintenance equipment
- Familiarity with landscaping hand tools and power tools
- Reliable and punctual with a robust work ethic
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform physical work including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- First Aid certification considered an asset
