Join our team as a Laundry Worker and be a vital part of delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort to our customers. In this energetic role, you will handle the efficient processing of linens, uniforms, and other fabric items, ensuring they meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
This is for an evening shift from 4pm to 10pm two days per week. With an option to work more shifts during the day shift.
Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Inspect items for stains, damages, or irregularities; perform spot cleaning or notify supervisors as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow established procedures for handling delicate fabrics and special cleaning instructions
- Record laundry loads, cycle times, and maintenance needs accurately in logs
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies such as detergents and fabric softeners
Skills
- Prior experience in hotel laundry services or similar hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Solid knowledge of laundry processes, including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure all items meet cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina for standing long hours, lifting heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols in a laundry setting
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude eager to maintain high standards of hygiene and service
Pay: $16.75-$17.00 per hour
