Your responsibilities include developing project budgets from initial design concepts and mentoring a team of estimators. Solid analytical and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with clients and subcontractors during the bidding process. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and prepare detailed cost estimates for projects
- Analyze Design-Build project budgets accurately




- Interpret and review construction drawings and specifications
- Develop preliminary schedules for estimates
- Train and mentor junior estimating staff

Requirements:

- 10-15 years of estimating experience in heavy industry
- Proficient understanding of construction drawings
- Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering Technology
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Clean BC Class 5 driver's license and RCMP record check
