Become a key leader at Photonic, overseeing a technician team in British Columbia. This full-time role focuses on operational excellence, safety, and team development in a cutting-edge lab environment. As the Manager of the Pilot Line Technician Team, you'll foster a culture of high performance while leading the execution of chip test and assembly operations.
You'll be responsible for coaching technicians, managing daily workflows, and ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You’ll also play a critical part in the recruitment, onboarding, and growth of your team to maximize lab utilization. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the technician team, setting daily priorities
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and maintain training records
- Coordinate equipment readiness and manage maintenance schedules
- Conduct regular performance reviews and 1:1 coaching sessions
- Promote a solid safety culture and maintain lab standards
Requirements:
- 3+ years of leadership experience in R&D; environments
- Proven operational execution and SOP management skills
- Degree in physics, engineering, or related fields
- Experience in developing training programs and records
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
