This permanent role includes delivering curriculum-aligned lessons while adapting to diverse learning styles in a multicultural classroom. You will leverage technology like MS Teams and Zoom for effective teaching, enhancing learners' communication skills for successful integration into Canadian society. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver functional English literacy instruction using American Sign Language
- Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to learner needs
- Incorporate technology in both in-person and virtual lessons
- Teach life skills necessary for navigating Canadian life
- Assess and track learner progression toward certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent
- 2-3 years of relevant teaching experience
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
