Duties

- Lead and supervise the deli team, providing clear direction, training, and motivation to achieve operational excellence.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards.
- Manage daily deli operations including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper food handling procedures.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, addressing their needs promptly, and fostering a friendly shopping experience.
- Enforce food safety regulations and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with health codes and industry best practices.




- Coordinate with kitchen staff and suppliers to ensure fresh ingredients are available for daily food preparation.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase sales while minimizing waste and controlling costs.

Qualifications

- Proven supervising experience in a food service environment or restaurant management role.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques.
- Extensive knowledge of the food industry, including deli operations and restaurant experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and serving others.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations essential for maintaining high hygiene levels.
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus but not required.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
