Litigation Associate

Toronto (Fully Remote)

Our client

Is a growing boutique litigation firm offering sophisticated litigation work within a flexible, fully remote workplace.

Responsibilities

- Manage litigation files from inception through resolution with a high degree of autonomy.
- Handle court appearances, discoveries, motions, and other litigation-related advocacy work.
- Working on a variety of litigation matters, including commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, debt collection litigation, and negligence defence matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other litigation materials.

Qualifications

- Called to the Ontario Bar, with approximately 3 to 5 years of litigation experience preferred.
- Strong litigation background, ideally in civil or commercial litigation.
- Comfortable appearing before the courts and managing advocacy-related responsibilities.




- Demonstrated ability to independently manage files and client relationships.
- Practical, solutions-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in joining a growing boutique practice.
- Excellent judgment, professionalism, and client service skills.
