Hospital is seeking full-time and/or part-time Locum Hospitalists to provide MRP inpatient medical services to acute care medical patients, with an opportunity to join the group as a permanent member. The focus of this role includes the admission of new, unassigned, and unattached patients through the Emergency Department (ED); comprehensive patient rounding and stabilization at the end of the day; and responding to urgent, non-code calls for patients admitted to the site. Successful applicants will join our group of Hospitalists and participate in an on-call rotation, which is approximately 1:3 for on call with 5-7 day work weeks.

Candidates should have a solid interest in integrating and developing their acute care hospitalist practice within the Sechelt Hospital team. Remuneration for your activities within the inpatient care services will be through the Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) payment model.

Qualifications Education, Licensing, & Experience:

- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) – Full or Provisional - Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP)
