What You'll Do

- Coordinate freight shipments across North America and internationally, using various modes of transport
- Provide rate quotations, negotiate with carriers, and book transportation for clients
- Generate and manage shipment documentation such as work orders, invoices, and bills of lading
- Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery,



updating clients on their shipment status
- Resolve issues such as missing documentation or lost freight, ensuring client satisfaction
- Interact with clients and vendors via phone, email, and occasionally face-to-face meetings
- Audit and approve vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policy
- Support colleagues with operational tasks and provide guidance as needed
- Participate in ongoing professional development through courses, seminars, and webinars

What You'll Bring

- Completion of CIFFA certification or equivalent industry training (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and vendors globally
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and other relevant software
- Basic mathematical skills for handling invoices and rate calculations
