Job Summary

Pride Group Logistics is hiring a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee daily logistics and transportation operations, ensuring the productive movement of goods while maintaining exceptional customer service, safety, and operational performance. This role is responsible for managing logistics staff, coordinating transportation activities, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring on-time deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily logistics, transportation, and distribution operations

- Supervise, train, and support logistics coordinators, dispatchers, and transportation staff

- Coordinate shipment schedules, routing, dispatch, and delivery activities

- Monitor operational performance and implement process improvements

- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and workplace safety standards

- Manage inventory flow, warehouse coordination, and carrier relationships

- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports

- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve logistics issues

- Monitor fleet utilization and coordinate vehicle maintenance when applicable

- Support budgeting, staffing, and continuous operational improvement initiatives





Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations management is preferred

- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

- Knowledge of logistics processes, freight operations, dispatching, and transportation regulations

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or logistics software

Preferred Skills

- Experience managing logistics or distribution center operations

- Knowledge of supply chain planning and inventory management

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

- Excellent customer service and vendor management skills
