Elevate equipment safety and reliability as a Maintenance Mechanic, ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities and fleet assets. This hands-on position prioritizes preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. As a pivotal team member, you will handle scheduled maintenance, perform repairs, and conduct inspections to enhance equipment efficiency.
Your role focuses on maintaining company vehicles and tools while fostering a safety-first culture. Collaborate across departments to ensure all maintenance practices meet proactive safety standards and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Coordinate repairs to minimize operational disruption
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Support safety compliance, including Lockout/Tagout procedures Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred
- Journeyperson certification in a related trade preferred
- Knowledge of safety legislation and practices
