Full-time Shift: Afternoon/Night (Rotates every 4 weeks) – Continental (10 – 12-hour shifts) Licensed Millwright Wage: $46.37 plus bonus and $1.50 night shift premium, overtime available + quarterly bonus pay Position: Maintenance Millwright The Millwright is a member of the maintenance team and as such, participates in team efforts to achieve assigned department goals; works closely with other team members to ensure all maintenance activities are completed on time, according to SOPs and regulatory requirements; and provides support to other roles within the maintenance team.
Your primary responsibilities include performing maintenance, install, examine, replace or repair components; troubleshoot mechanical systems and building services. In addition, you will provide technical support to production teams in supporting production uptime, ensuring optimal functioning of the production equipment and facilities.
This position provides critical support in reducing production downtime, maintaining overhaul programs, preventive maintenance of equipment, and effective troubleshooting and repair of equipment.

Operate tools such as lathes and milling machines to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of equipment. Assemble equipment prior to installation using hand/power tools and welding equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize equipment safety, efficiency and reliability. Comply with all applicable legislative and Bakery food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures. Work in a safe manner in accordance with provincial and internal LOTO policy.
Ticketed in the Millwright Trade. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (Food manufacturing is highly preferred). High aptitude with Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems (Required).
Proven track record working with Lathes, Milling Machines and Welding Equipment (ARC, TIG, MIG). Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs. Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Excel, Outlook).
