The Director will be a key member of the Valuation & Advisory Services team, responsible for delivering appraisal reports, market studies, consulting assignments, and portfolio valuations. Working closely with senior leadership, the role involves managing complex engagements, building and maintaining client relationships, and supporting business development initiatives.

The Director will also mentor emerging professionals and leverage advanced internal technology platforms to enhance the quality, efficiency, and insight of valuation deliverables.

Property inspections as needed.

Develop, and be responsible for Client relationship management on an ongoing basis.

Ability to self-motivate and effectively manage competing priorities while providing excellent support to clients with an uncompromised high caliber work product.

Results-oriented, proactive, and diligent in delivering uncompromised, high-quality reports to clients under strict deadlines.

Travel as the reasonable needs of the Company require.

Comply with all Avison Young policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.

7 + years of relevant work experience, or combination of relevant work experience and education

Post-secondary education in a relevant functional area including Bachelor of Commerce or MBA or similar, etc

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Demonstrate an understanding of the market, appraisal process and commercial real estate industry.
