As an active member of the Business Development team, the incumbent will source, develop & enhance new and existing partnerships with Investment Advisors, Dealers & MGAs. This includes supporting and executing on various sales activities, sales campaigns and Business Development and/or Marketing driven initiatives to build sales momentum, elevate the customer experience and contribute to the maximization of profitable sales growth.

To be successful in the role, the incumbent must be well-versed in all investment lending products and services offered by Laurentian Bank of Canada.

The incumbent is responsible for promoting,



selling the bank's products and services within their assigned geographic territory. The Business Development Manager will seek out new business opportunities and build positive relationships with Financial Advisors, Insurance Agents and Deposit Brokers within the bank's distribution channels – MGAs and MFDA.

Responsibilities

- Sells and promotes the bank's products and services in order to meet sales objectives.
- Develops and submits a monthly sales strategy plan to achieve objectives.
- Establishes contact and builds relationships with targeted intermediaries through planned sales activities to promote and sell products and services.
- Daily tracking and logging of sales activities for reporting on results and action plans on the bank's CRM system.
