Lead the Conflict of Interest efforts at the University of British Columbia as the Manager of Conflict of Interest. Your expertise in policy analysis and compliance will be crucial for maintaining integrity and reputation. This pivotal managerial role reports directly to the University Counsel and supervises the Conflict of Interest Administrator.
As the Manager, you'll oversee the analysis of the University’s COI Policy and ensure adherence while promoting awareness through initiatives and training programs. Working closely with the Conflict of Interest Committee, you’ll address sensitive cases and develop strategic recommendations for risk management. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead analysis of significant conflict of interest cases
- Develop and implement training programs for policy awareness
- Collaborate with academic units to improve legal processes
- Oversee administrative systems for conflict disclosures
- Provide strategic advice on conflict management to senior leaders Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum three years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of conflict of interest regulations
