Drive the vision of facilities management for the City of Cambridge by focusing on strategic planning and operational excellence. This is an prospect to lead new facility initiatives and ensure their successful implementation.

The Facilities

Manager reports directly to the Director of Risk and Facilities, managing both short- and long-term facility planning and operations. You'll deal with budgets, maintenance programs, and contract management while advocating for environmental and community safety. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee maintenance and compliance for City facilities
- Direct budget preparation and administration for facilities
- Design and implement preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure stakeholder communication and collaboration
- Act as facilities representative in asset management initiatives

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years in supervisory facility management roles
- Undergraduate degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Recreation
- Relevant certifications such as CRFP or FMP
- Strong leadership in contract and project management
- Commitment to health and safety standards
