Title and Summary Manager, Risk Management Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated contingent worker who is bilingual in French and English. The ideal candidate will have strong proofreading and translation skills, with knowledge of legal terminology being highly advantageous. This role involves proofreading documents translated by an external agency and occasionally translating documents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proofread documents translated by an external agency.
- Ensure translations are accurate,



consistent, and adhere to the firm’s style guidelines.
- Edit documents and make suggestions regarding word choice and sentence structure.
- Provide input regarding the correct style for citations and ensure documents are exact, well-organized, and properly formatted.
- Translate simple documents from English to French and vice versa as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure translations meet the required standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Utilize translation tools and software to enhance productivity and accuracy.

Qualifications:

- Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken).
- Proven experience in translation and proofreading.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
