Elevate production efficiency and quality as a Manufacturing Process Engineer with Gay Lea Foods in Hamilton. This onsite role focuses on optimizing processes and implementing improvements across teams. As part of the Engineering and Continuous Improvement Department, you will collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, maintenance, and design teams.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing manufacturing processes, designing recent workflows, and leading continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement manufacturing process improvements
- Analyze production metrics for efficiency and cost reduction
- Develop documentation, SOPs, and work instructions
- Lead root cause analysis for manufacturing issues
- Train production staff on new equipment and processes Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field
