Job Summary

Paris Orthotics Ltd, a busy custom orthotics manufacturer in East Vancouver, is hiring a permanent full‑time Material Handler for our Vancouver Manufacturing Lab. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:15 pm.

Responsibilities

- Receive all raw materials and validate packing slips upon arrival.
- Ensure materials are put away in an orderly fashion.
- Cut raw stock into usable WIP material.
- Glue material as needed.
- Communicate with the Supply Chain Manager regarding any material shortages.
- Fulfill external bulk material orders.
- Maintain dock and garbage bin areas.
- Maintain working condition of equipment in the material prep area.
- Organize storage and disposal of slipper and plaster casts and foam boxes.
- Maintain warehouse material area.




- Package raw material to be sent out for custom cutting and abrading as specified by the Purchaser.

Qualifications

- Organization and prioritization capability.
- Attention to detail.
- Verbal communication in English, both externally and internally.
- Minimum high school diploma and over one year of experience.

Motor Skills

- X‑acto knife.
- Spray gun.

Advantages

Wage range is $20–22.00 per hour. Health benefits are available after completing a three‑month probationary period.
