Mission As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will play a key role in designing and improving advanced electromechanical products. You will create and optimize complex 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks while considering mechanical, thermal and manufacturing constraints. You'll perform CFD simulations, develop heat management solutions and contribute to product reliability through vibration, impact and durability analysis.
From initial concepts to production support, you'll own the complete mechanical design process, including BOM creation and prototype development. Working closely with electrical engineers and manufacturing teams, you'll also participate in hands-on testing and validation to ensure robust, production-ready designs.
Working Conditions:
-Annual salary between $100,000 and $120,000 based on experience. -Full time permanent position. -Hybrid work model with flexible scheduling. -Four weeks of paid vacation. -Comprehensive group insurance including health, disability and life coverage. -Modern technical environment with direct access to laboratory facilities and prototype testing. -Downtown Montreal location with convenient public transit access Your profile Your profile: -Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. -Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design within industrial electronics or power systems. -Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D CAD design. -Experience with thermal analysis, CFD and heat management. -Knowledge of high-power system design and power wiring integration. -Experience with plastic injection molding and BOM generation. -Comfortable building and testing physical prototypes. -Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE is considered an asset. -Fluent English is required; professional French is an asset. -Self-driven professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced and innovation-focused environment.
