Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineering Manager role based in North Vancouver, BC.

The Mechanical Engineering

Manager will be also a technical lead in a multidisciplinary team that develops concepts, designs detailed machines, and analyzes the functionality and performance of the core components to optimize the gas upgrading systems and related mechanical components. Daily responsibilities include planning and overseeing mechanical design work, reviewing CAD models and drawings, guiding prototyping, and testing activities, and ensuring designs meet safety, quality, cost, and performance targets. The role also involves coordinating cross-functionally with process engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to support scale-up, installation, and commissioning of systems.

The Mechanical Engineering

Manager will manage project timelines and resources, mentor team members,



and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with experience designing complex mechanical systems and equipment.

- Demonstrated Engineering Management capabilities, including resource planning, performance management, and process improvement.

- Proven Project Management skills to scope, plan, track, and deliver multiple concurrent engineering projects on schedule and within budget.

- Effective Team Leadership skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop engineers and technical staff in a team-oriented environment.

- Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing and guiding mechanical designs, models, and drawings.

- Mechanical Engineering degree is a must and professional engineering registration (P.Eng. or equivalent) is an asset.

- Experience in rotary equipment, gas sealing, pressure systems, or gas seperation industrial equipment design is highly beneficial.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Salary Range

$90,000–$110,000 CAD per year, based on experience and qualifications.
