Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for managing the planning and scheduling of all maintenance work. This position is responsible for generating reports relating to maintenance activities such as but not limited to labor, material parts cost, total equipment costs, schedule compliance, proactive work etc.

This position is located at our Lunenburg, NS production facility. This position is required to be on site, 5 days per week.

Relocation available for candidates currently located in Alberta and Ontario!

Manage the work flow process to ensure all requested work is inputted correctly into the CMMS. Track maintenance activities and communicate effectively to all stakeholders on the status of the requested work.

Work closely with maintenance technicians to ensure work is completed on time and in full.

Optimize maintenance plans and schedules for predictive, preventive, routine, scheduled and emergency maintenance work.

Ensure all plant assets are in the CMMS with all necessary PMs in place. Train maintenance staff to effectively utilize the CMMS.

Maintenance KPIs

Adheres to company policies, procedures, GMPs, SOPs, company safety policies.

Assist in the development of equipment BOM’s.

Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial maintenance field.

Thorough technical knowledge in the field of industrial maintenance, including relevant regulations, standards and codes.

Thorough understanding of engineering principles and maintenance practices.

Robust communication skills, specifically reading, writing and speaking English.

Experience with technology, specifically CMMS systems and MS Office are required.

Previous experience in maintenance planning and/or maintenance scheduling

Flexibility to work all shifts, weekends and holidays is required.

Team oriented, collaborates closely with the Maintenance and production teams, communicates promptly to ensure a positive team result
