The Mechanical
Supervisor role entails direct oversight of mechanical personnel for maintenance and repair of mobile and fixed equipment. Successful candidates will possess solid leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of safety standards, and hands-on experience in the mining industry. You will collaborate closely with the Project Superintendent to meet production goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance of underground and surface equipment
- Monitor adherence to safety standards and regulations
- Oversee materials management and risk controls
- Collaborate with project leadership on production objectives
- Train and mentor mechanical personnel Requirements:
- Journeyman Certificate (421A) preferred
- 7+ years as Heavy-Duty Technician in mining
- 5+ years of mining industry experience
- 2+ years in a leadership role
- Familiarity with WHMIS and safety protocols Lead the maintenance efforts and ensure equipment reliability at Redpath's Westwood Mine operation.
