As Legal

Counsel, you will directly influence business outcomes by guiding contract strategy, mitigating risk, and supporting impactful projects that shape communities nationwide. Provide legal support for the negotiation, drafting and interpretation of complex contracts across the ERI and E&E; sectors. Deliver timely, practical legal advice to project teams throughout the full project lifecycle.

Advise internal stakeholders on legal, commercial and risk‑related matters. Draft and review legal documents, including contract templates and client agreements. Assess project risks and present findings to internal risk committees for approval.

Ensure compliance with corporate governance, policies and applicable laws and regulations. Collaborate with Claims & Litigation teams on disputes and contractual matters. Proven experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements in construction and/or engineering environments.

Strong understanding of risk management and business fundamentals.

Experience with major project delivery models (EPCM, design‑build, partnerships) is an asset. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts. Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
