Province: Ontario The typical salary range for this position is $62 400.00 - $85 800.00 annually. The base salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity considerations.

This is an existing, temporary full-time position until January 29, 2027.

Summary

The Merchandising Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support to the category and ensuring system data integrity is accurate including feature activity.

Specific Responsibilities

- Maintains regular daily and periodic reports including providing adhoc reports as necessary in support of the Category.
- Costing system maintanance including promotional features.
- Promotional planning creation/maintenance.
- Create and submit recent item creation and modifications requests.
- Product allocation creation for promotional and seasonal programs.
- Assist Merchandising team as necessary with category performance, and process improvement.
- Liase with internal and external contacts in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications

- Post Secondary diploma or degree in Business or related field required.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Advanced MS Office - particularly in Excel.
- Knowledge of Produce products
- Experience in perishables retail merchandising considered an asset.
- Attention to detail, creative thinking, ability to manage change, strong communication skills and customer focused.

RELATIONSHIPS: Fresh Merchandising, Metro Merchanding, Operations, Marketing, Accouting,



Replenishment, Stores, Vendors The responsibilities and relationships assigned to this role may change as is necessary to achieve Metro's business objectives.
