Responsibilities

- Coordinate environmental compliance activities across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collect, organize, and analyze environmental data through fieldwork, laboratory testing, and research initiatives.
- Utilize GIS software such as ArcGIS and other GIS tools to create detailed maps and spatial analyses supporting project planning and compliance tracking.
- Support data collection efforts by designing sampling protocols, conducting site inspections, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in preparing detailed reports on environmental conditions, compliance status, and research findings for internal review and regulatory agencies.




- Collaborate with engineering teams using AutoCAD to develop site plans that incorporate environmental considerations.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment used in field sampling or monitoring activities.
- Use programming skills in Python to automate data processing tasks and enhance analytical workflows.
- Contribute to research projects related to horticulture or ecological restoration, providing insights for sustainable development practices.

Requirements

- Proven laboratory experience with sample collection, testing procedures, and data analysis techniques.
- Proficiency with GIS software such as ArcGIS or similar platforms for spatial data visualization.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.
- Experience in data collection methods during fieldwork or site inspections.
- Knowledge of environmental research methodologies and regulatory compliance standards.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to field equipment operation or troubleshooting is preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for creating or reviewing technical drawings related to site plans.
- Programming experience in Python for automating tasks or analyzing large datasets is a plus.
