We are seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling metal components while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.

- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components according to specifications.

- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

- Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials before welding.

- Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

- Perform grinding, polishing, and finishing work as required.

- Maintain welding equipment and report any maintenance needs.

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

- Assist with other fabrication and production duties as required.

Requirements





- Minimum 2–3 years of MIG and TIG welding experience.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

- Experience welding stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.

- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and fabrication processes.

- Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and angle gauges.

- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

- Solid attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- CWB Welding Certification is an asset.

- Experience with fabrication equipment such as brake presses, shears, drills, and saws.

- Forklift certification is an asset.
