Mattr, known for its advanced material technologies, is seeking a Mold Repair Specialist to perform critical mold repairs and maintenance.
You will use various techniques to restore molds, perform gelcoat repairs, and carry out thorough quality inspections to minimize production downtime and enhance product quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Restore damaged molds through grinding, sanding, and filling
- Conduct gelcoat repairs with seamless application
- Complete structural repairs using fiberglass and resin
- Maintain mold surfaces through preventative maintenance
- Inspect molds thoroughly to ensure quality standards Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; additional experience preferred
- At least 3 years of related experience; 5+ years preferred
- Detailed knowledge of composite structures and curing processes
- Skilled in mold repair and surface restoration
