Yukon Montessori School is seeking a dedicated, experienced Montessori Casa Lead Guide to join our team. This is an opportunity to help deliver meaningful, child-centred Montessori education to students in Yukon.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support classroom learning activities for children aged 3 to 6.
- Create and maintain a secure, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide direction to children with daily routines and care as needed.
- Supervise children during outdoor play, park visits, and field trips.
- Maintain regular, respectful communication with parents regarding their child’s well-being and development.
- Prepare, maintain,
and organize Montessori classroom materials.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support a positive school community.
- Experience working with children aged 3 to 6 and a strong understanding of early childhood development.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Current first aid certification.
- Current RCMP vulnerable sector check, negative TB test, immunization records, and a physician’s note confirming fitness to work with children.
Hourly wage will be based on certification level, experience, and training.
