Role Description
This is a full time remote position for a Multimedia Specialist specializing in video, audio, production, and editing. The Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for creating, editing, and producing high-quality video and audio content, designing graphics, capturing compelling photography, and developing multimedia strategies. Key duties also include collaborating with the team to ensure alignment on creative vision and delivering content that supports the company’s mission.
Who You Are
Are you a creative self-starter with an eye for design and an ear for crisp audio? We’re looking for a proactive Multimedia Designer to join our remote marketing team!
In this highly autonomous role, you will bring our content to life by transforming raw assets into polished, ready-to-post social media reels and short videos. You’ll also be the technical supportbehind our live podcast - running the backend stream to our social pages and assisting with post-production to cut the raw recording into pristine long-form episodes and bite-sized video clips.

Key Responsibilities
- Video Production & Editing: Independently edit and produce short-form video content and social media reels using provided raw footage and sourced b-roll, requiring minimal guidance from management.
- Podcast Support: Assist with audio & visual cleanup and editing for our company podcast (reels and short form video). Collaborate with the podcast team to assist with preparation and technical setup.
- Graphic Design & Animation: Create engaging basic graphic design assets and motion graphics to elevate our video and social content.
- Creative Autonomy: Manage project timelines effectively and deliver high-quality assets that align with our brand standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar) and producing content specifically optimized for social media platforms.
- Strong proficiency in audio editing and cleanup.
- Experience with basic graphic design and motion graphics (After Effects, Illustrator, Canva, etc.).
- Strong ability to work independently and take creative initiative as well as work with the marketing team online via Slack and Microsoft Teams.
- Asset: Experience or knowledge in UX/UI design.
- Ability to produce engaging and high-quality multimedia content
- Experience working in digital wellness, mental health, or lifestyle content is a plus.
- Editing programs, libraries, and subscriptions are provided by AWE - Digital Wellness. You will need to provide your own computer.
Work week:
Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day. We are a Canadian company based in Montreal, Quebec, operating on Eastern Standard Time.
Compensation
Compensation: As an early-stage, growing organization, we currently operate on a deferred payment structure. This means payroll is directly tied to company revenue, and payouts are issued once the company is paid. Upon payment, compensation will align with competitive industry standards for this role.
