About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Operations Coordinator to join a collaborative operations team. This role provides day-to-day support in a fast-paced environment focused on managing client transfer activities and maintaining accurate records.
This position offers a supportive team culture, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain valuable experience within financial services operations.
What You'll Do
Outbound Communications (Approximately 80%)
- Make outbound calls to financial institutions and external stakeholders regarding client transfer activities
- Follow up on outstanding requests and obtain status updates
- Maintain professional communications and detailed records of all interactions
- Ensure activities are completed accurately and within established timelines
Operations & Data Entry (Approximately 20%)
- Update and maintain internal systems and databases
- Process documentation and track case progress
- Complete data entry and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Support operational workflows and service delivery objectives
- Collaborative team of approximately 20 members
- Daily team huddles and ongoing support
- Full training provided, including a structured onboarding period
Required Qualifications
Must-Have
- University degree
- 1-2 years of operations, administrative, customer service, or related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience handling phone-based interactions with customers or business contacts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- High technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with spreadsheets and data management tools
- Ability to meet productivity and performance targets in a high-volume environment
Nice-to-Have
- Call center experience
- Banking or financial services experience
- Experience with ticketing, workflow, or case management systems
- Experience with Excel macros
- Bilingual in French and English
