The Operations Technician Qualifying

Position (OTQP) requires a motivated individual ready to advance from trainee to qualified technician. You will engage in customer service, handle emergency situations, and perform critical maintenance duties ensuring the safety of gas facilities. Your skills will evolve through extensive training and real-world experience as you progress to independent worker status. Key Responsibilities:

- Service, activate, and re-activate gas appliances and equipment
- Handle customer inquiries and emergency situations effectively




- Gather and record data on service installations and distribution layouts
- Perform leak detection on gas lines to ensure safety
- Read and interpret facility maps for work assignments Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
